Ritual: Apologize to someone you've wronged

Rarely do we have the opportunity to be so genuine with another person as we do in apology. We always learn over time about ourselves and about how others are a part of the things we do with our lives—when this learning helps us realize we've wronged someone along the way, it's worth to make our lessons learned more explicit. It's important to take a moment to apologize to the people we didn't expect to hurt but happened anyway. And there are those times in our lives when a lack of self-awareness leads us to act on others in ways we can't help but later regret. It's worth taking a moment this week or the next to say it out loud, to the people for whom it will matter.
